Full Groom Transformation
$90–$125Golden Retrievers have a dense double coat with water-repellent guard hairs and a thick insulating undercoat. In Orlando's climate, this undercoat remains heavy year-round — Goldens don't experience the seasonal shed reduction seen in northern climates because the temperature signal isn't strong enough. Buddy's appointment included a thorough de-shedding treatment, feathering trim (legs, tail, and chest bib trimmed to maintain the natural Golden silhouette without blunt cuts), and paw tidying. We do not clipper the Golden Retriever body coat — the guard hairs protect against Florida's intense UV radiation. Six to eight week professional intervals recommended.
Before
Buddy arrived with six weeks of coat growth — dense undercoat visibly thickening the silhouette, feathering on legs and tail growing past a manageable length, paws overgrown.
After
Buddy left with undercoat thoroughly de-shed, feathering trimmed to a natural, tidy length, paws cleaned. Coat gold, clean, and lying flat.
