Full Groom Transformation
$58–$80Longhaired Dachshunds require more grooming attention than their smooth-coated counterparts. Oscar's feathering zones — ears, chest, belly, and tail — had grown to the point where outdoor debris was collecting in every contact point. We detangled the chest fringe (matted from ground contact during walks) and trimmed to a practical length that reduces debris accumulation. Ear fringe was trimmed to fall just below the ear leather. The smooth body coat was bathed and de-shed. Longhaired Dachshunds in Central Florida should be groomed every six to eight weeks; smooth-coated Dachshunds can extend to eight to twelve weeks between professional appointments.
Before
Oscar arrived as a standard longhaired Dachshund with feathering grown past a practical length — ear fringe trailing, chest fringe matted, tail plume tangled.
After
Ear fringe and chest feathering detangled and trimmed to a neat practical length. Tail plume separated and cleaned. Short body coat refreshed.
